5 Things You Must Do In Utah


Planning a trip to Utah? Just moved to Utah? Don’t really know what to do for the weekend? Tired of taking the same trip to Temple Square? I have a solution for you. There are amazing sites to see and things to do in Utah! It took me a few years to figure out some of these great secrets of Utah but here is a list of my top favorite things to see/do in Utah. What are some of your favorites?

1. The Subway
Did you know there is “The Subway” in Utah? And no, we are not talking about the sandwich restaurant Subway. At Zion National Park you can have a canyoneering adventure by visiting “The Subway.”  Because “The Subway” is underground they have limited tickets. To learn more click here.

 2. Rainbow Bridge
Did you know it’s the world’s largest natural bridge? It is carved from a fin of red Navajo sandstone. It is 290 feet tall and 270 feet across. The bridge is considered sacred in Navajo culture and it is advised that you do not walk under the bridge to respect the local culture.  The hike to the bridge is ¼ of a mile both ways. 3. Flaming Gorge
Flaming Gorge is a great vacation spot. They have fishing, boating, camping, etc. It is full of fun activities and it’s great for families! It’s not just fun there but it has breathtaking views! To learn more about Flaming Gorge click here.

 4. Lake Powell
Is the wife nagging you to get away? Here is a spot that is great for both of you! You can have fun in the sun during the day and at night you can snuggle up by a campfire under the stars. This isn’t just for couples looking to get away. It’s a place that family and friends can go boating, fishing, water skiing, wakeboarding, etc.! To learn more click here. 

 5. Dinosaur Land
For all you paleontologist you do not want to miss this destination. This is a great place for the geek in you as well as your family and children. At Dinosaur land you can see and touch the dinosaur bones! Not only that but you can go camping, swimming, rafting, hiking, etc. It’s great fun for everyone! To learn more click here.
